Bert F. Winston Band Complex
A 39,089-square foot building on the east end of TDECU Stadium housing the Spirit of Houston Band Recital Halls and classroom spaces, Coach Bill Yeoman Hall and the UH Athletics Ticket Office.

Coach Bill Yeoman Hall
A 2,000-square foot tribute area to University of Houston history located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium. Serves as a gameday club for ticket holders in section 129 and north side loge boxes.

Concession Stands
A total of 160 concession points of sale throughout the stadium plus multiple portable concessions.

Concourse

A 360-degree concourse with an uninterrupted view of the field on 67 percent of the concourse. Includes both audio and video broadcast systems throughout the concourse.

The construction of TDECU Stadium is currently estimated to cost approximately $120 million.

Doris Nantz Press Box
The Doris Nantz Press Box contains seats for 70 working media along with a press dining area. Post-game press conferences take place in a wired field-level photographer work room.

Field Surface
The synthetic surface installed at TDECU Stadium is the S5-M manufactured by UBU.  S5-M, a Speed Series product, is a slit-film turf blade with a sand/rubber combination for infill. It is the same surface installed at the Houston Football practice facility. The turf is designed to host a multitude of events, including but not limited to, high school football games, band practice, specific UH intramural events, etc.

25 feet below the main stadium concourse.

Legends Plaza
A plaza area recognizing the proud tradition of Houston Football at the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium.

Locker Room (Home)
State-of-the-art 5,000-square foot home locker room located at the southeast corner of TDECU Stadium. Views exclusive to the club area give those fans an opportunity to watch team members travel from the locker room to the field level.

Locker Room (Visitor)
Located at the west end of the stadium with a field entrance in the northwest corner of TDECU Stadium. Multi-functional locker room can be split and serve two separate teams simultaneously.

Number of Seats
A minimum of 40,000 seats. A seating diagram can be found here.

Orientation of Stadium
East-to-west giving fans and television audiences a spectacular view of the downtown Houston skyline while also keeping in line with the University's grid system and creating a more efficient parking. Sun and shade studies were also conducted to improve the best level of comfort for Houston fans and not affect student-athletes.

Parking
Surface lots around the stadium contain 1,467 parking spaces while the stadium parking garage holds 2,268 spaces.

Party Patios
Four (4) open-air lower bowl party decks with 24 armchairs (20 inches wide). Both the east and west lower bowl end zones contain a party deck with two located on the north lower bowl sideline.

Premium Seating
Consists of 5,000 of the 40,000 seats in the TDECU Stadium.

  • Club Area- The stylish club area is the ultimate Houston Football experience. With 12,400 square feet of multi-purpose club area overlooking the field of play, fans with access to the club area enjoy upscale food and drinks while receiving first-class hospitality on game days. The climate-controlled area also feature high-definition televisions and private restrooms. The area is also available to host special events, meetings and classes.
  • Suites- Spanning from end zone to end zone on the south side of TDECU Stadium with a view of downtown Houston, 26 premium suites each containing 12 outside padded arm chairs, four inside bar stools and entertainment area. Houston fans enjoy comfort and style in these 325-square foot suites with individual upscale service and amenities.
  • Loge Boxes- 42 loge boxes each containing four seats and high-definition monitors located throughout the stadium.
  • Club Seats- 766 armchair style padded club seats that are 22 inches wide and located in the lower bowl of TDECU Stadium.
  • Additional Premium Seating- 2,778 armchair seats that are 20 inches wide and 1,210 benches with backs with the majority located in the lower bowl of TDECU Stadium.

Restrooms
A total of 18 primary restrooms throughout the concourse plus 38 other restrooms in TDECU Stadium.

Skyline
TDECU Stadium was designed to showcase the Houston skyline in the northwest corner of the stadium to remind all visitors and television audiences that UH is the University of Houston.

Student Section
Contains over 5,000 seats in the east end of TDECU Stadium.

Suite Decks
Two (2) open-air party suites located on the suite level positioned at each end (east and west end) of the suites. Each open-air suite contains 60 padded armchairs (21 inches wide).

Ticket Office
The University of Houston Athletics Ticket Office is located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium facing Cullen Blvd. The facility has eight exterior ticket-selling windows along with two interior windows in the ticket office lobby in close proximity to the stadium parking garage.

Video Board
State-of-the-art HD-video board located on the west end of TDECU Stadium. Sized at 2,584 square feet (38 feet high, 68 feet wide), the board was designed by Panasonic using Nichia technology.

WiFi
Boingo Wireless, the leading DAS and Wi-Fi provider that serves consumers, carriers and advertisers worldwide, is TDECU Stadium's wireless network partner.

Boingo will install, manage and operate a neutral host, multi-carrier Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the stadium, providing fast, reliable cellular coverage and data capacity throughout the 40,000-seat venue.

Boingo's industry-leading DAS networks leverage state-of-the-art design to deliver comprehensive stadium coverage, and maximize carrier participation to ensure more fan access. Boingo will also manage any future deployments of cellular small cells at the stadium.The company will also deploy and manage Wi-Fi networks for both fan and stadium operations use. University of Houston Cougars fans, students and faculty will be able to access ad-supported Wi-Fi throughout the stadium to share their game day experiences. The Boingo Wi-Fi network will also support the stadium ticketing, point of sale, and concessions systems and staff.
