NCAA Bylaw 10.3 - Gambling

Student-athletes shall not knowingly participate in sports wagering activities or provide information to individuals involved in or associated with any type of sports wagering activities concerning intercollegiate, amateur or professional athletics competition.

A student-athlete who engages in sports wagering may permanently lose all remaining regular-season and postseason eligibility in all sports.

DO NOT provide information to individuals involved in any gambling activity concerning intercollegiate athletics.

DO NOT place or accept bets including friendly wagers that do not have any monetary value on any intercollegiate, amateur or professional competition.

DO NOT place or accept bets on any team from your school.

DO NOT participate in gambling activity that involves intercollegiate, amateur or professional athletics through a bookmaker, a parlay card or any other gambling activity.

DO NOT accept money or any other benefit to change the outcome of a contest in which you participate.

It is PERMISSIBLE to engage in legal gaming authorized by federal or state law which does not involve intercollegiate, amateur or professional athletics.

It is PERMISSIBLE to participate in fantasy sports leagues or tournament pools as long as there is no entry fee and no cash prizes or prizes with cash value are awarded to the winner. In other words, YOU ARE PLAYING FOR FUN WITH NO FINANCIAL INVESTMENT AND NO OPPORTUNITY FOR MATERIAL GAIN.

I understand involvement in sports wagering is a violation of NCAA rules. I further understand the consequences of sports wagering to my eligibility for intercollegiate competition.
