Indoor: Her season best indoor pole vault mark of 12-10.00 came in a first place showing at the Nike Fast Timesshe won the Conference USA Championship in the pole vault with a clearance of 12-01.50... her vault of 12-09.50 was good enough for tenth place at the NCAA Championships... was victorious at the Houston Indoor Invitational with a mark of 12-07.50.
Outdoor: Her season best outdoor pole vault mark of 13-07.25 came in a victory at the Texas Relays... completed a sweep of the C-USA pole vaulting titles with a clearance of 12-02.00... cleared 13-01.50 while taking second at the USTCA Team Championships... won the pole vault at the Lewis-Tellez Dedication Meet with a leap of 12-10.25... in six pole vault showings in 2000, she never placed out of the top four.

College: Transfer from Rice University... finished second at the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships... ended her indoor season with a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a mark of 11-7.75... best indoor vault was when she won UH's Bayou City Indoor meet with a vault of 12-5.50... that mark ranked 20th nationally... was selected as the best freshman athlete at Rice.
