Cougar Softball Stadium
The much-anticipated addition to Cougar Softball, Houston's youngest intercollegiate athletic program, was the completion of Cougar Softball Field prior to the 2002 season. The $2.4 million complex sports home and visitors locker rooms, laundry facilities and a press box which includes separate radio and television booths. The NCAA-regulation field has a top-quality infield and outfield, and up to 1,200 softball fans are treated to comfortable seating, concessions areas and accessible parking.
Located next to the Tom Tellez Track Complex on the corner of Scott and Elgin Streets on the UH campus, Cougar Softball Field was made possible through the generous donation of UH alumni John and Rebecca Moores.
