ADA ACCESSIBILITY ACCOMMODATIONS
The University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to guests with ADA accommodations. TSU's H&PE Arena is designed with ADA accessible parking, restrooms, concessions, ATMs and seating areas. For more information, fans can call the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at (713) GO-COOGS (462-6647).
Entrances: All public entrances are ADA accessible.
Seating areas: H&PE Arena has ADA accessible seating on the main concourse. Visit the ticket office for accommodation needs.
TSU West Garage (Blodgett Entrance): ADA accessible parking is available in the parking garage off the Blodgett Entrance next to H&PE Arena. Parking in this garage is $5, unless you have a Cougar Pride parking pass from any donor lot, entry is free with both the parking pass and valid ADA hangtag. Enter off of Blodgett Street.
H&PE Arena is located on the campus of Texas Southern University at the corner of Wheeler Ave. and Ennis St. The exact address is 3000 Wheeler Ave., Houston, TX 77004.
ADVANCE TICKET PURCHASE
Fans can call 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or visit the Houston Athletics Ticket Office from 9 a.m., to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the H&PE Box Office 90 minutes before tip located on the northwest corner up the ramps of the arena, just outside the main entrance.

The University of Houston and The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics work hard to promote responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol is prohibited. However, beer is sold at most concession stands. All alcohol sales conclude at the 10-minute mark of the second half.
Animals are not permitted inside H&PE Arena with the exception of service animals and service animals in training.
For security purposes, backpacks are not permitted in H&PE Arena. Purses, small handbags, diaper bags, etc. will be permitted. All bags are subject to search.
All bags are subject to search upon entry and are subject to additional searches within H&PE Arena. This policy is in effect for all guests of Houston Athletics.
BANNERS AND SIGNS
Banners and signs must be event-related, in good taste and cannot obstruct the view of other spectators. They may not contain commercial messages, logos or political endorsements. All signs held by spectators must be no larger than 3 feet tall by 3 feet wide. All banners and signs that are to be hung must not be larger than 4 feet tall and 8 feet long.
No outside food or drink, including bottled water, and/or cans and glass bottles are allowed.
Cameras (still only) are permitted at Houston Athletics events as long as their use does not interfere with the game or other guests' enjoyment of the event. Pictures of the game are for personal use only and may not be sold. Tri-pods and mono-pods are prohibited from use on the concourse or in the stands. Video cameras and video recording of events are prohibited.
Children age two (2) years and under will get in free of charge, but must sit in the lap of a parent or guardian and may not occupy a seat or obstruct the sight lines of other guests.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Our staff will proactively support an environment free from the following behaviors:
Abusive, foul or disruptive language and obscene gestures
Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption
Behavior that is reckless, dangerous, disruptive or illegal in nature
Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures
Sitting in a location other than the guests ticketed seat
Displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting
Obscene or indecent clothing
Any disruption to the progress of the event by guest's actions, (including entering the court or throwing objects onto the court)
Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel or law enforcement officers
Verbal or physical harassment of the opposing team's players or fans, officials, or arena personnel
Continuing inappropriate behavior may result in the guest being ejected, arrested by police, or having his/her tickets revoked. All season-ticket members are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons using their tickets.
Sodexo is the official concessionaire for H&PE Arena. Concession locations are located around the concourse level.
Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover Card are accepted at the concession stands and the merchandise stands.
Should you need immediate assistance, please notify the nearest event staff member, security personnel or police officer.
In the event of a serious emergency at H&PE Arena, all event staff, event security, police and Houston Public Safety emergency response agencies are ready and available to assist all guests, including guests with disabilities. Pertinent information regarding the emergency situation and evacuation procedures will be provided over the public address system.

A First Aid station is located in Suite 2 of Hofheinz Pavilion behind section 102. Guests needing medical assistance are encouraged to contact a nearby event staff or security staff member, who can assist in contacting the First Aid staff.
GATE OPENING TIMES
H&PE Arena will open 90 minutes prior to the start of Men's Basketball games for all spectators.

LOST AND FOUND
All Guests needing to claim or report lost items during an event should visit Lost and Found in Suite 2. Items found but not claimed are taken to the University of Houston Police Department. The University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
LOST CHILDREN AND GUESTS
Lost children and guests should be taken to any police officer or event staff personnel throughout the arena.
Seating for media members is available courtside and along the baseline. Please contact the Houston Athletics Communications Office for information on requesting credentials.
Following games, a press conference featuring the head coach and student-athletes will be held in Room 109 behind the visiting team bench.
Credentials for accredited media agencies can be obtained by applying with the Houston Athletics Communications Office. Requests for season credentials must be made two weeks prior to the start of the season, and single-game requests must be submitted two business days before the requested game.
UH offers credentials as well as media parking. Working press seating is located courtside and on the baseline at H&PE Arena, while media parking is located in the garage off Blodgett Street.
MEDIA WILL CALL
Media Will Call is located on the lower south side of H&PE Arena across from the west garage on the Holman Street side of Hofheinz Pavilion and will open 90 minutes prior to tipoff. Media members must have a photo ID to receive their credentials. Press seating is located courtside and on the south end of the court, nearest the visiting team bench.

NOISE MAKING DEVICES
Artificial noisemakers are strictly prohibited inside the arena.
Due to the fact that we utilize faculty/staff and student parking on game day and many games are weekday games, parking lots will be available 1.5 hours prior to tipoff.
Cash parking is available West Garage on TSU's campus (3010 Ruth St, Houston, TX 77004) for $5.
ADA accessible parking is available in the Stadium Garage for $5 with an accessible hangtag and free with an accompanying Cougar Pride Parking Pass.
Patrons with a Cougar Pride Priority Parking Pass in Orange (West Stadium Garage via the Blodgett St. entrance) should hang their pass on their rearview mirror and present the attendant with the stub from the bottom of the tag upon entering.

Guests of University of Houston student-athletes may pick up tickets at the complimentary admissions tables at the main entrance of H&PE Arena 90 minutes before tipoff. Per NCAA rules, each person receiving a ticket must be present with a photo ID in order to for sign tickets. Guests of players are required to enter the arena when they receive their ticket and must follow arena policies regarding no re-entry.
Programs are free and available at the main entrance.
In conjunction with the NCAA and for the safety of our guests and employees, the following are prohibited:
Animals (except service animals to aid guests with disabilities)
Coolers/Bottles/Cans and Thermoses
Outside food and beverage items*
Fireworks, open flames or flammables
Firearms and weapons of any kind
Metal or glass containers of any kind
Personal transport devices (skateboards/hover boards/Segways)
Video cameras and the use of video capable devices
* Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs.
Any attempt to bring alcohol into H&PE Arena will be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct and may result in the guest being ejected, arrested or tickets being revoked. All persons and/or their belongings are subject to search. Violators of the rules of any State or City laws will be refused admission, asked to leave or ejected from Arena property.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes (the University of Houston is a Tobacco Free Campus)
Abusive, foul or disruptive language
Trespassing, soliciting, peddling and loitering
Any other item or action deemed dangerous or inappropriate
Guest who appear to be inebriated and unmanageable will not be permitted admittance into the arena
Houston Men's Basketball games are broadcast in the Houston area on 950 AM KPRC as part of the Houston IMG Sports Network.
There is a NO re-entry policy in effect for H&PE Arena. Once a guest exits the arena, they will not be allowed back in for the remainder of the event.
RECRUIT/HIGH SCHOOL COACH TICKETS
University of Houston Basketball recruits can receive more information about tickets by calling the Men's Basketball office at 713-743-9430 or the Women's Basketball Office at 713-743-8938. Texas High School Coaches can receive one (1) complimentary ticket for themselves and one (1) additional for a guest based upon availability. THSCA members can call the respective Basketball office in advance to request their name to be added to the list for a particular game(s).
Any coach without the THSCA card on game day will not be admitted. Reservations for THSCA tickets must be made prior to game day.
No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are permitted. Refunds will not be granted due to a game date or time changes. Check UHCougars.com for up to date game information.
The University of Houston Athletics Ticket Office is not responsible for any tickets that are lost. The original ticket purchaser may request their tickets to be reprinted prior to game day in writing to the Houston Athletics Ticket Office. The original ticket purchaser must present a valid photo ID to pick up reprinted tickets on game day. To pick up tickets prior to game day, the original ticket purchaser may come to the Gate 1 Ticket Office located at TDECU Stadium with a valid photo ID.
Tickets cannot be reprinted if the ticket was purchased from any other ticket provider besides the University of Houston Athletics ticket Office. Tickets cannot be reprinted on game day at H&PE Arena.
Public restrooms are conveniently located throughout the arenas. All restrooms are ADA accessible.
SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING
In an effort to ensure the safety of our fans on game day, we are asking all spectators to notify UH Police Department, event staff personnel or Athletics Department Staff immediately if you see anything out of the ordinary while on campus or in Hofheinz Pavilion. Call UHPD at 713-743-3333

SOLICITATIONS, GIVEAWAYS AND SPONSORSHIPS
No items may be distributed in or around H&PE Arena prior to a UH Basketball game without prior consent from the University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and IMG College. To obtain consent, or for information on stadium and radio broadcast sponsorships, please contact IMG College at 713-743-1446.
Solicitation and literature distribution is only allowed with prior approval through Houston IMG Sports Network, 713-743-1446.
Strollers are permitted at H&PE Arena. However, their use cannot inhibit guest movement or block any aisles. Smaller, umbrella-style strollers can be stored underneath a seat as long as it does not create an obstruction for other guests. Parking strollers in ADA accessible areas is prohibited.
All UH Full-time Central Campus students & TSU students are admitted FREE to regular-season Men's and Women's Basketball home games. Each UH student must claim their ticket online prior to game day to gain entry to H&PE Arena. If tickets remain for the student section, students may pick up a physical ticket on game day by presenting a valid student ID at the main box office of H&PE Arena for admission. Where to Sit: Sections G, upper H, I, J, K, & L. All student sections are general admission. Admission is first-come, first-served and based on availability. Lower section H is reserved for the UH band.
Student Discounted Tickets ($5): Each currently enrolled student at the central campus may purchase discounted tickets for their friends and family for all regular season home basketball games. Student discounted tickets must be purchased IN PERSON with your valid Cougar Card at the Houston Athletics Ticket Office. All student sections are general admission and based on availability.
UH Satellite Campus Students: Satellite campus students can purchase a student discounted ticket for themselves for $5 each on the day of the game only. For basketball, UH satellite campus students can purchase tickets at the H&PE box office, if tickets are still available on the day of game, and must show a valid student ID to receive a ticket.
The UH Team Shop is the official outfitter of Houston Athletics, and the merchandise stand is located on the concourse level behind Section 125. The UH Team Shop is operated by Fanatics. Visit UHTeamShop.com for all your Houston fan apparel.

Guests are required to possess their tickets at all times once they enter the arena. Guests must show their tickets to any arena staff member when requested to do so. Failure to produce a valid game day ticket may result in ejection from the arena.
For Houston games, children two (2) years old and under do not need a ticket to enter H&PE Arena. They must be seated on an adult's lap and not interfere with the sightlines of other guests.

TICKET SALES WINDOWS
H&PE Arena ticket sales windows will open 90 minutes prior to tip-off on game days. Advance ticket sales are made through the Houston Athletics Ticket Office by calling 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647), online uhcougars.com, or visiting the Houston Athletics Ticket Office, located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside Gate 1 by Legends Plaza.
Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium Garage visitor entrance with the first 30 minutes free of charge.

Ticket Replacement Policy (Lost or Stolen Tickets)
Please contact the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) as soon as possible if you discover that your season tickets have been lost or stolen. On game day, tickets cannot be replaced at H&PE Arena. You must notify the Houston Athletics Ticket Office 24 hours prior to tip-off to replace your tickets. The original ticket purchaser will be required to show their photo ID to have tickets reprinted. Stolen tickets should always be reported to the local law enforcement agency first.
Ticket Window Locations
Ticket windows are located near the Cullen Boulevard and Holman Street at the main entrance at H&PE Arena up the ramps near the main entrance. Gates open 90 minutes prior to tip-off. All major credit cards and cash are accepted. To purchase tickets prior to game day please see the Advance Ticket Purchase section.
VISITING TEAM / PLAYER GUEST and WILL CALL
The visiting team player guest and will call is located at the complimentary admissions tables on at the main entrance of H&PE Arena. Guests will be admitted when the gates open 90 minutes prior to tipoff. The visiting team may distribute tickets prior to this time, but that is the decision of each visiting institution. If you are receiving tickets through the visiting team and have questions, you should contact that institution prior to game day. A photo ID will be required to receive the tickets.
General Will Call is for customers who have purchased in advance and requested their tickets to be left at Will Call. Customers may pick up Will Call tickets any time in advance at the Houston Athletics Ticket Office during normal business hours or at H&PE Arena 90 minutes prior to tip on game day. H&PE Arena general Will Call is located at the main entrance ticket window and will open 90 minutes prior to tipoff. A photo ID will be required to receive the tickets.
