    Accessibility Information

    Assisted Listening Devices
    BBVA Compass Stadium is equipped with assisted listening devices for guests with hearing impairment. Receivers are available for all events at Guest Services across from Section 118. Receivers are provided free of charge, with a valid form of identification.

    Accessible Drop Off and Pick Up
    Accessible drop off and pick up is located on the 900 block of Hutchins Street at Walker Street.

    Accessible Parking
    Accessible parking is located in the south portion of Astros Lot C. Cash parking ($20) in Lot C is available at the entrances to the lot. Accessible parking is also available in independently owned and operated surface lots.

    Closed Captioning
    BBVA Compass Stadium is equipped with handheld closed captioning devices. The handheld devices are available for all events at Guest Services across from Section 118. Devices are provided free of charge, with a valid form of identification.

    Accessible Seating
    Accessible reserved seating can be found throughout BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets may be purchased via the University of Houston Athletics Ticket Office. Please contact the Ticket Office at 713-462-6647 for more information.

    Elevators
    BBVA Compass Stadium is equipped with elevators. One is in the southeast corner of the stadium across from Section 133. This elevator is for use of guests with field seating tickets who have accessible needs. The second elevator is located in the West Club Lobby on the west side of the stadium across from Section 106. The West Club Lobby elevator is accessible to suite ticket holders, club ticket holders and guests with accessible needs.

    PAV Device
    The PAV is a multi-purpose, Internet-based communications marvel that provides standard payphone, videophone, keyboard and camera in one robust, vandalism-resistant package. The PAV allows everyone, including deaf, hard of hearing and speech-disabled people, to make phone calls. What's more, the PAV serves as a communications center, allowing you to visually display important information to effectively communicate with deaf and hard of hearing customers. The PAV device is located inside the Guest Services area and in available to the public during all events. This service is offered free of charge to patrons and can be found at Guest Services, which is located across from across from Section 118.

    Public Transportation
    Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County offers accessibility on its busses. METRO can provide para-transit service through METROLift for those who cannot ride one of its fixed routes. To schedule a ride with METROLift, please contact METRO at 713-225-6716.

    Aisles, Rails, Ramps and Stairways
    To help ensure guest safety and experience of games and events, sitting or standing in aisles, at rails, in ramps or in stairways is prohibited. Guests will be asked to return to their seats. Standing on seats is also prohibited.

    Alcohol Policy
    No alcohol may be brought into BBVA Compass Stadium. Guests will not be allowed to enter if they appear to be intoxicated. Alcoholic beverages may be purchased inside the stadium. Beverages purchased in the stadium are prohibited from leaving the stadium. All persons must be 21 years of age or older and provide proper identification to purchase alcoholic beverages. Management has the right to refuse service at any time. Alcohol sales can be terminated at any time at the discretion of BBVA Compass Stadium management.

    For Houston Cougar football games, alcohol will not be sold once the fourth quarter starts, or earlier at BBVA Compass Stadium management's discretion. In the West Club last call will be made 45 minutes following the conclusion of the match, or earlier at BBVA Compass Stadium management's discretion. For other events including concerts and other sporting events, management will determine the shut off time on an event by event basis.

    Drunk and disorderly behavior and or violation of any alcohol policy will result in ejection from the stadium without refund.

    Animals
    Service dogs are permitted. No pets or other animals are permitted.

    ATM Locations
    BBVA Compass ATMs are located on Concourse across from Sections 115, 130, and 139.

    Baby Changing Stations
    All men's, women's and family restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations.

    Bag Checks
    All guests entering the facility are subject to a metal-detector screening, visual inspection and a bag inspection. BBVA Compass Stadium personnel will not touch personal belongings. You may be asked to move an item in a bag so a proper visual inspection may be conducted. Personnel will conduct their inspections with respect toward the guests' dignity and legal rights. In no circumstance shall the inspections be conducted in a discriminatory manner.

    Balloons
    Deflated balloons are permitted. Helium filled and inflated balloons are prohibited.

    Ball Return Policy
    Footballs that enter the seating area must be returned to the field.

    Banners & Signs
    Event-related signs, flags, banners, and posters are welcome inside the facility to show fan support during events.

    The following guidelines relate to these items:

    • Must be relevant to event
    • May not be larger than 3 feet tall by 5 feet wide
    • May not be attached to a stick / pole
    • May not obstruct any stadium or event signage
    • May not contain or display obscene or offensive language and/or pictures as determined by BBVA Compass Stadium management
    • May not be constructed or displayed in a manner that may obstruct the view of other guests or in any way create a safety hazard for others as determined by BBVA Compass Stadium management

    Any banner or sign may be removed, at any time, at the sole discretion of BBVA Compass Stadium management.

    Bicycle Parking
    Bicycle Parking is available at northwest, northeast and southeast gates of the stadium.

    Bottles & Cans
    All glass and metal containers of any kind are prohibited. Empty, one clear plastic bottle 32 ounces or less is permitted. Containers pertaining to medical supplies approved by BBVA Compass Stadium management are permitted.

    Cameras
    Still cameras with lenses 8 inches or shorter will be allowed at Houston's game on Oct. 12. Guests may not bring any types of audio/video recording devices into the facility. These devices include video camcorders, audio recording devices, etc.

    Chewing Tobacco
    Chewing tobacco is prohibited.

    Closed Captioning

    Code of Conduct
    The University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests. Our staff will proactively support an environment free from the following behaviors:

    • Abusive, foul or disruptive language and obscene gestures
    • Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption
    • Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures
    • Sitting in a location other than the guests ticketed seat
    • Displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting
    • Obscene or indecent clothing
    • Any disruption to the progress of the event by guest's actions

    Continuing inappropriate behavior may result in the guest being ejected, arrested by police, or having his/her tickets revoked. All Season Ticket Holders are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons using their tickets.

    Designated Driver Booth
    The Designated Driver Booth is located at Guest Services across from section 118. BBVA Compass Stadium, Levy Restaurants and Bud Light have partnered to offer any guest who identifies himself or herself as a designated driver will receive a coupon for a free 20 oz. fountain drink.

    Dress Code
    BBVA Compass Stadium management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive language and/or images. Guests are required to wear shirts upon entry and shoes at all time. Guests wearing clothing deemed inappropriate by BBVA Compass Stadium management may be denied access into the facility.

    East Center Circle
    The East Center Circle is located on the east side of the stadium off of Dowling Street. For Houston's game, the East Center Circle is open to Suites 1 - 33, Party Suites 1 - 3, President's Club,, Sections 206 A - 206 C. Guests with access may use the East Center Circle as their entrance into the stadium. The lobby is equipped with bathrooms only accessible to those with the proper ticket. East Center Circle opens 90 minutes before kickoff.

    Elevators
    BBVA Compass Stadium has two elevators. One is in the southeast corner of the stadium across from Section 133. This elevator is for use of guests with field seating tickets who have accessible needs. The second elevator is located in the West Club Lobby on the west side of the stadium across from Section 106. The West Club Lobby elevator is accessible to suite ticket holders, club ticket holders and guests with accessible needs.

    Emergency Preparedness
    BBVA Compass Stadium has an emergency plan to address an emergency, should one occur. BBVA Compass Stadium's goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere by using installed automated security systems and appropriate security operating plans. Trained Guest Services and Security personnel will ensure the security and safety of all guests, performers, players, and employees at BBVA Compass Stadium. In the case of an emergency, guests must comply with requests from venue staff regarding stadium operations and emergency response procedures.

    Entrances
    Gates accessible to all guests are located in the northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest corners of BBVA Compass Stadium. The East Center Circle, located on the east side of the stadium, is accessible to suite ticket holders, President's Club seat holders, Sections 206A - 2056C and specially ticketed customers for Houston's game. The West Club Lobby, located on the west side of the stadium, is accessible to suite ticket holders, President's Club seat holders, Sections 206A-206C and specially ticketed customers for Houston's game. For Houston's game, all entrances open at 9:30 a.m. except for the student entrance located at the northeast corner of the stadium which opens at 9 a.m.

    Family Restrooms
    Family restrooms are located across from Sections 103, 106, 109, 113, 118, 123, 129, 133, and 139. All restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations and are wheelchair accessible.

    Fan Fest
    Pregame Fan Fest will be located in the Red Zone outside the southwest entrance of BBVA Compass Stadium and will be open from 8-11 a.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase in the area that will also include inflatables and fun for the whole family.

    First Aid
    First Aid stations are located at Sections 119 in the northeast corner of the stadium and Section 133 in the southeast corner of the stadium. Please notify the nearest BBVA Compass Stadium staff member for any assistance.

    Food & Beverage Policy
    Guests may not bring food or beverage into the facility. Food or beverages deemed necessary due to special dietary need, religious requirement or medical condition may be approved in advance by the Guest Services Department. One empty, clear plastic bottle 32 ounces or less per guest is permitted.

    Gameday Central
    Houston Athletics Marketing will have two Gameday Central booths located in the stadium: Outside of Section 113 and outside of Section 118.

    Gate Opening Times
    Gates for Houston's game will open at 9:30 a.m. with the exception of the student gate, located at the northeast corner of the stadium that will open at 9 a.m.

    Guest Conduct
    All guests must maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Guests using offensive language or engaging in disorderly conduct may be ejected from the facility and may be subject to arrest. Ejected guests will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way for their loss.

    Disturbances include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Standing on chairs or benches
    • Intoxicated and disorderly conduct
    • Fighting or challenging others to fight
    • "Mooning" or private body parts
    • Interference with or delay of game/event
    • Violation of BBVA Compass Stadium's policies
    • Violation of local, state, and federal laws and statues
    • Igniting and display of flames, i.e. lighters/matches, in the seating areas
    • Attempting to enter the field of play or stage without permission
    • Throw, discharge, or launch any liquid substance or objects
    • Willfully and maliciously disturbing another guest/employee with loud and unreasonable noise or behavior
    • Using profanity and/or offensive words which are likely to provoke a violent reaction from others
    • Taunting or using offensive language against the players, referees, employees or performers

    Guest Services
    Guest Services is staffed with BBVA Compass Stadium personnel who are ready to assist you. Guest Services is located across from across from Section 118.

    Inspections

    Intoxicated Guests
    BBVA Compass Stadium reserves the right to deny entry to guests that appear to be intoxicated. Any intoxicated guests causing a disturbance during an event, will be asked to leave the facility and may be subject to arrest.

    Laser Pointers & Pens
    Laser pointers and pens are prohibited.

    Lost & Found
    Lost and found items will be turned into Guest Services during events or at their conclusion. If you lose an item during an event please visit Guest Services, across from Section 118, for assistance.

    At the end of the event, Guest Services will turn all unclaimed items to Security. After events, guests wishing to inquire about the recovery of lost items are directed to call Security, identify the item, present valid photo identification card, and sign a receipt. BBVA Compass Stadium Security may be contacted at 713-547-3000. After 30 days, all unclaimed items will be released to charitable organizations.

    Lost Children
    Lost children will be taken to Guest Services located across from Section 118. Guests looking for a lost child should notify the nearest BBVA Compass Stadium staff member immediately and wait at Guest Services.

    Lost or Stolen Tickets
    Please call the switchboard at 713-547-3000 to speak with the Ticket Office to have a ticket re-printed.

    Media Credentials
    Media must be properly credentialed at all times. For information on how to obtain media credentials, please contact the Houston Athletics Communications Department at 713-743-9404.

    Media Entrance
    Media entrance will be located at the stadium's northwest gate and will open at 8:30 a.m.

    Media Will Call
    Media will call is located at the northwest corner of the BBVA Compass Stadium and will open at 8:30 a.m. Media members must have a photo ID to receive credentials.

    Noise Making Devices
    Noisemakers such as air horns, drums, cowbells, horns, vuvuzelas and whistles are prohibited.

    Player Guest - Houston
    Guests of Houston student-athletes may pick up tickets at the stadium's southwest gate beginning at 9:30 a.m. Per NCAA rules, each person receiving a ticket must be present with a photo ID in order to sign for tickets. Guests of student-athletes are required to enter the stadium when they receive their ticket and must follow stadium policies regarding no re-entry.

    Player Guest - Memphis Guests of Memphis student-athletes may pick up tickets at the stadium's southeast gate beginning at 9:30 a.m. Per NCAA rules, each person receiving a ticket must be present with a photo ID in order to sign for tickets. Guests of student-athletes are required to enter the stadium when they receive their ticket and must follow stadium policies regarding no re-entry.

    The visiting team may distribute tickets prior to this time, but that is the decision of each visiting institution. If you are receiving tickets through the visiting team and have questions, you should contact that institution prior to game day.

    Playing Field - No Trespassing
    BBVA Compass Stadium will not tolerate persons who may in any way enter or attempt to enter the playing field without permission. Violators will be ejected from the facility and will be subject to arrest.

    Press Box
    The press box is located on the west side of the stadium behind section 103 and is accessible to those with media credentials.

    Programs
    Programs are sold for $5 at merchandise stands throughout the stadium's concourse.

    Radio Broadcast
    Houston Cougar football games are broadcast in the Houston area on SportsTalk 790 AM or KTRH 740 AM as part of the Houston IMG Sports Network. Check the TV/Radio Broadcast page for all the up-to-date information.

    Radios
    Radios are permitted in the event that they do not disrupt the event and other guests. Radios must not require an electrical outlet. Guests may be requested to turn on the item to verify it is what it appears to be.

    Recycling
    Recycling is available for paper, plastic and aluminum products with recycling bins located through out the facility. Please recycle while visiting BBVA Compass Stadium.

    Re-Entry
    BBVA Compass Stadium has a no re-entry policy during events.

    Refund Policy
    No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are permitted unless we are unable to fill your order. Refunds will not be granted due to a game date or time changes.

    All tickets should be treated like cash. The Houston Athletics Ticket Office is not responsible for any tickets that are lost. A fee will be assessed to you for any lost/stolen tickets, no exceptions. Duplicates will only be issued for reserved season tickets. General admission tickets will not be duplicated. The season ticket holder of record must be present to have duplicate tickets issued. No third parties will be issued duplicates for someone else's season tickets. Please contact the Ticket Office if you have any questions regarding lost or destroyed tickets.

    Restrooms
    Restrooms can be found through out all areas of the stadium. Women's restrooms can be found near Sections 103, 109, 110, 114, 118, 123, 129, 134, 138 and 139. Men's restrooms can be found near Sections 104, 108, 113, 119, 122, 124, 128, 133, and 139. Family restrooms are located near Sections 103, 106, 109, 113, 118, 123, 129, 133, and 139.

    The East Center Circle and West Club Lobby have both men and women's restrooms accessible to those with the proper ticket. All restrooms are equipped with a baby changing station and are wheelchair accessible.

    Security
    BBVA Compass Stadium wants to ensure that guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. Security personnel and uniformed police offers are positioned throughout BBVA Compass Stadium. Guests requiring assistance should contact the nearest security guard, uniformed police officer, BBVA Compass Stadium team member or go to Guest Services. All guests entering the facility are subject to a metal-detector screening, visual inspection, and a bag inspection. BBVA Compass Stadium personnel will not touch personal belongings. You may be asked to move an item in a bag so a proper visual inspection may be conducted. Personnel will conduct their inspections with respect toward the guests' dignity and legal rights.     Segways & Tri-Bikes
    Segways and Tri-Bikes are prohibited on BBVA Compass Stadium premises.

    Skateboarding & Rollerblading
    Skateboarding and rollerblading are prohibited on BBVA Compass Stadium premises.

    Smoking Section
    The smoking section is located outside the southeast gate across from Section 130.

    Solicitation/Literature
    Pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, and flyers, unapproved by Houston Athletics and BBVA Compass Stadium management are prohibited.

    Standing
    To help ensure guest safety and experience of games and events, sitting or standing in aisles, at rails, in ramps or in stairways is prohibited. Guests will be asked to return to their seats. Standing on seats is also prohibited.

    Strollers & Child Seats
    Strollers and child seats are permitted at the gates and in the concourse areas. Strollers and child seats may be stowed under your seat if they do not obstruct any walk ways. Strollers or child seats that do not fit under seats can be stored by locating the nearest Guest Services Representative for assistance.

    Student Seating
    All UH Students are admitted FREE to regular season football home games. Each student must present a valid Cougar Card at the northeast gate of BBVA Compass Stadium for admission. Tickets will not be issued in advance.

    Where to Sit: Sections 114-118 & 213-221. All student sections are general admission. Admission is first-come, first-served and based on availability.

    Student Guest Tickets: Each currently enrolled student at the central campus may purchase a limited number of guest tickets for $15 each for Houston's Oct. 12 game vs. Memphis at BBVA Compass Stadium. Student guest tickets must be purchased IN PERSON with your valid Cougar Card, beginning Monday, Oct. 7, at the Houston Athletics Ticket Office, or on game-day at the BBVA Compass Stadium box office, located on the stadium's north end, if tickets are still available. All student sections are general admission and based on availability.

    UH Satellite Campus Students: Satellite campus students can purchase a student ticket for themselves and a limited number of guest tickets for $15 on the day of the game only. UH satellite campus students can purchase tickets for the game at the BBVA Compass Stadium box office, located on the stadium's north end, if tickets are still available on the day of game, and must show a valid student ID to receive a ticket.

    Sunscreen
    BBVA Compass Stadium is an open air facility. All guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen lotion. Aerosol spray cans are prohibited.

    The University of Houston Athletics Ticket Office is located on the first floor of the Athletics/Alumni Center, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours may be extended to accommodate the needs of specific events.     Ticket Policy
    Guests are required to possess their ticket, at all times, once they enter the stadium. Guests must show their ticket to any stadium staff member when requested to do so. Failure to produce a valid game day ticket may result in ejection from the stadium.

    For Cougars games, children under the age of three (3) years old do not need a ticket to enter BBVA Compass Stadium. They must be seated on an adult's lap and not interfere with the sightlines of other guests.

    If single game tickets remain day of game, they will be available for purchase at The BBVA Compass Stadium Box Office is located on the north side of the stadium across from Section 118 on Texas Street at Bastrop Street. Ticket windows will open at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 12 and all major credit cards and cash are accepted. Advance ticket sales are made through the Athletics Ticket Office by calling 713-GO-COOGS, online at UHCougars.com, or in the Athletics/Alumni Center.

    Ticket Prices
    Single game tickets for the Oct. 12 Houston vs. Memphis game range from $27-$42.

    Ticket Replacement Policy (Lost or Stolen Tickets)
    Please contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) as soon as possible if you discover that your season tickets have been lost or stolen. It is recommended that you contact the ticket office prior to game day.

    Transportation
    Guests needing to call a taxi may go to Guest Services located across from Section 118 for assistance. For information on public transportation please visit: http://ridemetro.org/.

    Umbrellas
    Umbrellas are prohibited. Guests may leave umbrellas at the gates at their own risk for pick up upon departure. Guests are encouraged to bring raincoats, pullovers or ponchos.

    Water Fountains
    Water fountains can be found across from the following sections: 103, 109, 115, 118, 123, 129, 133, and 139.

    Weapons
    Weapons of any kind are prohibited.

    West Club
    The West Club is located above Sections 105 - 107. The West Club can be accessed via the West Club Lobby. The West Club is open to Suites 1 - 33, President's Club, Sections 206A-206C and specially ticketed guests.

    West Club Lobby
    The West Club Lobby is located on the west side of the stadium. The West Club Lobby is accessible to Suites 1 - 33, President's Club, Sections 206A-206C and specially ticketed guests. Guests with access to the West Club Lobby may also use the East Center Circle as their entrance into the stadium. The lobby is equipped with bathrooms only accessible to those with the proper ticket. The West Club Lobby will open at 9:30 a.m.

    Wheelchairs
    Complimentary wheelchair escorts are available at any entry point or guests may make advance escort arrangements by contacting Guest Services at 713-547-3000. The service is available to and from the entry gates and seating areas. Please be aware that our staff and wheelchair will not remain with you during the event.

    Will Call (Day of Game)
    Will Call tickets are available day of game beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the BBVA Compass Stadium Box Office. Tickets are released only to the person whose name they are being held for. Proper photo identification is required.

    Will Call (Prior to Day of Game)
    Customers may pick up Will Call tickets any time in advance at the Athletics Ticket Office at the Athletics/Alumni Center (3100 Cullen Blvd.) during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
