HOUSTON – Houston Athletics continually focuses on building Champions for Life by preparing over 400 student-athletes to become champions in academics, athletics and in the community. That mission continued in the spring as the student-athletes recorded the highest spring GPA (2.95), highest cumulative GPA following a spring semester (2.93) and the highest average hours passed in a spring semester (14.1) in program history.
Those three records were in addition to a record 108 student-athletes, or 27 percent of the student-athlete body, being named to the University of Houston’s Dean’s List by recording a 3.50 GPA or better while passing 12 or more hours.
