Bradly Newton joined the University Of Houston Department Of Athletics in August of 2016 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer working primarily with football.
Brad previously spent two years at the University of Houston as a Graduate Assistant with Football from 2012 to 2014. During that time he earned his Master's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration. For the past two years Brad has been working at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in West Houston.
He originally comes to us from Batavia, New York where he grew up in a town with more cows than people. Bradly earned his Bachelor's degree from Canisius College, in Buffalo New York in 2012. While at Canisius he was a two year seasonal intern with the Buffalo Bills. Brad met one of his mentors, and University of Houston alumnus, Shone Gipson, who now serves as the Head Athletic Trainer.
Brad is a nationally certified athletic trainer, and an active member of SWATA and NATA.
