Brittney Ducroz joined the sports performance staff in March 2013. She works with the student-athletes and coaching staffs of the Softball, Soccer and Swimming and Diving teams to develop in-season and off-season workout programs.
Ducroz joined the Cougars after spending the 2012-13 season at Purdue. There, she created and implemented programs for the women's volleyball, basketball, swimming, cheerleading and cross country programs.
She spent the spring semester of 2012 as an intern at the University of Texas, where she assisted with the programs for the women's volleyball, golf and soccer teams. In addition, she created post rehabilitation programs for injured athletes with ACL and bone fractures.
Before joining Texas, Ducroz worked in the private sector for Bruce Johnson, director of Helix Elite performance consulting. At Helix Elite, she worked with professional track athletes and AJV volleyball players.
In addition to her time at Helix Elite, Ducroz owned Your Inner Athlete, a personal training business with the primary goal of helping develop young athletes.
Ducroz entered the collegiate ranks as an assistant women's basketball coach at her alma mater, Wilmington University. She worked in that capacity from 2006 to 2008
She received her bachelor's degree in sports management and marketing in 2008 and is currently working on her master's degree in sports leadership at Duquesne.
Ducroz is single and lives in Houston.
