Chris Flores joined the University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics as Director of Ticket Operations in April of 2013.
Flores came to Houston after serving as Box Office Manager at the University of Kansas for over two years where he managed the day-to-day operations of the KU Ticket Office.
Flores oversaw all operations for KU baseball and women's volleyball while also assisting with football and men's basketball and contributing during men's basketball postseason action, including the Big 12 Tournament, NCAA Second and Third Rounds, Midwest Regional and Final Four.
Prior to his time in Lawrence, Flores acted as Manager of Ticket Operations for the WNBA's Tulsa Shock. Flores managed all aspects of ticket operations during the Shock's inaugural season at the newly-constructed BOK Center.
Following completion of his graduate studies, Flores served as Ticket Office Assistant at the University of Maryland, where he managed operations for baseball, women's soccer and men's lacrosse.
Flores worked as a graduate assistant with the Arizona State Ticket Office for two seasons where he managed soccer, track and wrestling and also contributed to the University of Tulsa Ticket Office for four years as an undergraduate student.
Flores earned a bachelor's degree in business management with an emphasis in sports management from the University of Tulsa in May 2006 and followed up with a master's degree in recreation and tourism management from Arizona State.
