Chris Miller joined the University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in July 2013 as football video coordinator. In that role, he will compile and edit video for study by the coaching staff and supervise student photographers at all practices and games.
Miller joined the Cougars after spending the previous two years at Wyoming in a variety of roles. As director of media, he coordinated the football program's daily media needs, including scheduling and management of film staff and the usage of XOS video editing and DragonFly video exchange software.
For his work in 2012, he was honored as the Mountain West Conference Video Coordinator of the Year by the Collegiate Sports Video Association.
Miller began his affiliation with Wyoming as a marketing and promotions student intern in 2006. He assisted in pregame, in-game and postgame operations for several sport programs and produced website content for The Dirt, the university's student fan club site.
A native of Gillette, Wyo., Miller earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Wyoming in 2010. He also is a 2003 graduate of Campbell County High.
He is single and lives in Houston.
