Grantscott Greene begins his fifth year as the director of video operations at Houston and his seventh as the football video director. He supervises the filming and editing of all football practices and games, as well as the "cut ups" for the football team. Greene also supervises the overall operations of the University of Houston video department, including the preparation and management of the budget and operations of video boards for all athletics events. Prior to his arrival at Houston, Greene spent two seasons as the video coordinator at Texas State in San Marcos, Texas. He oversaw the filming and editing of all Bobcat football practices and games as well as all video needs for each team in the Athletics Department. He was responsible for producing a highlight package for the weekly coach's show and as well as the creation of an "end of the year" highlight video for each of the Bobcat sports. Greene managed the video budget and was responsible for inventory, maintenance and video equipment repair. Before joining the staff at Texas State, Greene spent three seasons as a video assistant at the University of Maryland, where he assisted in the filming and editing of all football practices and games. A native of Takoma Park, Maryland, Greene received his Bachelor's degree from Maryland in 1998. He is married to the former Pamela Emilien of Houston, and the couple has a daughter, Jasmine, who will be three years old this fall. |
