Kyle Seay is in his third year with the University of Houston as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. In this role, Seay serves as the primary contact for the women's basketball and women's tennis teams while assisting with football duties.
Seay comes to Houston after acting as Assistant Director of Media Relations at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. In his three seasons at ORU, Seay handled the publicity efforts for women's basketball, baseball, volleyball, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's tennis.
During his time with the Golden Eagles, Seay helped coordinate the 2009 Summit League Baseball Championship and contributed at the 2009 NCAA Baseball Regionals and 2010 WNIT.
Prior to joining ORU, Seay served as Media Relations Graduate Assistant at TCU, covering men's and women's tennis and men's and women's swimming and diving. Seay acted as the media coordinator for the 2008 Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Tennis Championships, as well as an ITA Pro Circuit event.
A native of Spartanburg, S.C., Seay graduated from Clemson University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and earned his master's degree in liberal arts from TCU in 2008.
As an undergraduate, Seay interned with Wofford College and the Southern Conference sports information departments, as well as the Clemson University ticket office.
Seay and his wife, Bryn, reside in Houston.
