Lauren DuBois took over as the Director of Compliance for Men's Basketball, Baseball, Women's Basketball, Track/Cross Country and Soccer at the University of Houston in the fall of 2012.
Prior to her time in Houston, DuBois served as the Assistant Director for Compliance at the University of Akron from 2008 to 2012. There she was directly responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day administration of comprehensive Division I Compliance.
DuBois also successfully served as the lead compliance officer for all 19 of Akron's major sports programs, as the school went through a transition period after the Assistant Athletic Director left the institution.
Before taking the role of Assistant Director for Compliance at Akron, DuBois served at the Graduate Assistant for Compliance at the university for the summer of 2008.
DuBois graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, from Eastern Michigan University in 2006. During her time at the university, DuBois also was captain of both the track and field, and cross country teams.
Post-graduation, DuBois earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School Of Law in 2009.
She and her husband Jacob were married in 2009 and they have a one-year old daughter, Savannah Grace.
