Lauren DuBois was named associate athletics director for compliance in September 2015 before being promoted to senior associate athletics director for compliance, academics and financial aid in May 2017. She serves as chief compliance officer for the University of Houston Department of Athletics, overseeing all aspects of the compliance office, while working as sport administrator for women's tennis.
DuBois, whose last name is pronounced Dew-Boys, previously served as assistant athletics director for compliance in 2014-15 and worked as and director of compliance from 2012 to 2014.
Prior to joining Houston, DuBois served as assistant director for compliance at Akron from 2008 to 2012. There, she was directly responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day administration of the compliance program for 16 assigned sports.
DuBois graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree political science from Eastern Michigan in 2006. As an undergraduate, she was captain of both the track and field and cross country teams as a full scholarship student-athlete.
After her undergraduate career, DuBois earned her juris doctorate from the Akron School of Law in 2009.
She and her husband, Jacob, have a daughter, Savannah Grace.
