Director of Athletics Facilities and Operations

Betsy Morin is in her fifth year as Director of Athletics Facilities and Operations. Her basic responsibilities include overseeing AAC and Hoff Tennis complexes and assist with other complexes when needed. She oversees scheduling for the AAC to prevent department conflicts for all sports as well as coordinating all aspects for hosting UH championships.

Morin serves as a liaison for the swimming and diving, tennis and track and field programs. She also serves as a game manager for the swimming and diving, tennis and golf team.

Morin also oversees the budget for facilities and operations, accounts payable/receivable and contracts. Morin works with the Houston Dynamo as well, overseeing all reconciliation and maintain due diligence on contractual obligations.

Morin works closely with Aramark, UH Physical Plant, Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, University Center and UH Special Events to coordinate university and athletic departmental needs.

Prior to coming to UH in 2005, Morin was a teaching assistant at Kingwood College and Montgomery College from 1999 to 2004. From 1981 to 1992 she worked with Continental Airlines.

The UH alumni obtained her bachelors degree in 1999 and her master's in 2001, while her associates degree from Kingwood College in 1996.
