Myndi Luevano joined Houston IMG Sports Marketing as an account executive in June 2014.
Before joining the Cougars, she served as a marketing associate with the NBA's Houston Rockets during the 2013-14 season. There, she assisted in the execution of Rockets Corporate, Community, Ticket Sales, Game Operations and Marketing and Promotions events.
In 2012-13, Luevano worked as a development coordinator at UTSA, where she was responsible for developing all basketball marketing plans and game-day environment and preparing and executing all development and donor-related events.
After graduating from UTEP in 2008, she served in a variety of roles with the Miners. She began as a Marketing associate in 2008 and was elevated to assistant director that fall. In that role, she designed creative strategies to enhance the fan experience for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball and all Olympic sports as a game-day manager.
She was promoted to director of marketing and promotions in 2010, implementing season and individual ticket sales campaigns with record number of Football and Basketball season tickets in 2010 and 2011.
As an undergraduate at UTEP, she competed for two years on the Women's Track and Field Team, earning a place on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll each year. She also was a two-year letterwinner on the UTEP cheerleading team.
She received her bachelor's degree in kinesiology with a minor in biology from UTEP in 2008 and was named to the Dean's Honor Roll.
