Sam Colin joined the Marketing and Promotions Office as a marketing assistant in June 2014 but is no stranger to the University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
During the 2013-14 year, he served as an intern with the Marketing and Promotions Office and was the primary lead for Houston Baseball and Swimming and Diving. That year, the Cougars sold out the student section at five home Football games and enjoyed the biggest attendance at a Men's Basketball game since 2008.
Colin, who is a Chicago native, previously worked at the UH Campus Recreation & Wellness Center and served as an intern with Lone Star Sports and Entertainment.
He received his bachelor's degree in communications-public relations with a minor in Spanish from the University of Houston in 2014.
