Shane Hildreth serves as the Vice President of Regional Sales - Southwest for IMG College and began working with the University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in April 2014.
Hildreth joined IMG College in July 2012 and focuses on putting together revenue-generating programs across multiple properties in the Southwest as well as running the day to day sales and operations for The Red River Showdown, University of Houston and Rice University. IMG College Southwest properties include The University of Texas, Baylor University, Texas Christian University, University of Texas El Paso, Red River Rivalry, Longhorn Network, Tulane University, University of Kansas, University of Arkansas and The University of Nebraska.
Before joining IMG College, Hildreth worked as the director of sponsorship sales with the Houston Astros. Joining the Astros in September 2007 as assistant director of sponsorship sales, he was elevated to director in December 2009. In those roles, he was responsible for selling all revenue categories including print, radio, television, online, in-stadium signage and promotions as well as spring training revenue.
Prior to joining the Astros, Hildreth worked as corporate development manager for Lone Star Sports and Entertainment, a division of the Houston Texans, from 2006-2007. While at LSSE, he was responsible for the sponsorship revenue of the Shell Houston Open, Gold Cup Soccer and the Texas Bowl. From 2002-2006, he served as a sales account executive at Clear Channel Radio Houston, working directly for 740 KTRH, 790 KBME and 93.7 KKRW.
He was an interim coach for the Detroit Tigers during 2002 Spring Training under the direction of Phil Garner.
Hildreth received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Texas. As a student, he also served as an assistant coach for the Concordia University baseball team during the 2000-2002 seasons.
He and his wife Regay have two children: daughter, Audrey, and son James.
