Hey Coogs! Wow, what an unbelievable game. We hate to make it that interesting and that stressful for all you fans, but hey canąt complain about that comeback. Our team is made up of a bunch of fighters and we will continue to fight all the way through the game regardless of the situation. Now with that being said, we have proven again that we can come from behind to win ballgames, but gosh I sure donąt want to have to do it again this week. I would really like to win in style going into the conference championship.

SMU had a dang good team this year, though. We knew it all week long, and we knew that we would have to bring our A game in order to win. Well, we didnąt exactly bring our A game until the second half, but thank GOD it was enough to pull it out. SMU has a lot to play for right now, which makes them a very dangerous football team. I wouldnąt be surprised if they turn around and beat Tulsa this week if they can overcome their injuries from Saturday.

This week is another big week against a dangerous opponent again. Any team that isnąt playing for much and is also hosting their last home game of the year is always one to watch out for. Plus, playing at home in the C-USA Championship would be a huge advantage for us, so there is no reason to overlook them. We must stay focused on the task at hand, because as you saw this past weekend with all the top teams getting knocked off, it can happen at any time. Teams start to look forward to the championship games and someone sneaks up on them and knocks them off. It canąt and wonąt happen to this team. We will be focused and ready come sat. Thanks for all the support and we will bring the championship game back here to Houston.

Go COOGS!
