Neal Talmadge
Neal Talmadge

Neal recently joined the Houston ISP Sports Network. Talmadge has spent the last 9 years with CBS Radio where he launched the Houston Texans Radio Network and was the acting DOS. Neal has also served as DOS at both the Houston Rockets Basketball Team and the Houston Aeros Hockey Club. A graduate of the University of Houston, Neal earned his undergraduate degree in Industrial Psychology.

Michael Sage

Mike joined the Houston ISP Sports Network as a Senior Account Executive in January of 2009. Prior to joining ISP Sports, he worked as a National Advertising Manager with Professional Sports Publications. He started his career with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League and serving as a Corporate Sales Account Executive for over four years. Prior to the Lightning, Mike also gained experience in operations with the PGA of America. A graduate of Florida State University, Mike earned his degree in Sports Management with a business minor in Marketing.

Alec Nguyen is the newest member of the Houston ISP team, joining the company in May 2009. Nguyen comes to ISP after a successful stint with Office Depot, but also has experience in sports marketing having spent four years as a corporate account manager with the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL) and Tampa Bay Storm (Arena Football League). He is a graduate of Ohio State and received a master's from Florida State

The Cougars have been to a bowl game for four consecutive years. Their 34-28 win over Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl on December 31, 2008 was the program's first bowl win since 1980

Energy For Cougars

DID YOU KNOW? The University of Houston had the first person of Indian origin, Dr. Renu Khatour, become President of the University of Houston System in January 2008. In addition, Kevin Sumlin, hired as Head Football Coach in December 2007, will be the first African-American ever to lead a Division I-A football program in the state of Texas.

COUGAR PRIDE
Cougar Pride is an organization of alumni, fans, former student-athletes, coaches and friends joining together to provide current student-athletes with a first-class education and a chance to excel in the classroom and on the playing field. Your corporate membership in Cougar Pride will help supply scholarships for over 300 student-athletes in 16 collegiate sports.

ISP SPORTS
ISP Sports has been hired by the UH Athletic Department to help raise money through corporate sponsorships. As the exclusive multi-media rights holder for Cougar Athletics, ISP Sports is joining forces with Cougar Pride, the scholarship fundraising arm of UH Athletics, to market the "Energy for Cougars" program.

ENERGY FOR COUGARS
The goal of this new program is to raise funds from the Houston Energy Community to help finance Cougar Athletic Scholarships and to help offset additional UH Athletic Department expenses. Your company's corporate sponsorship dollars would go toward providing scholarships for our student-athletes, facility improvements, academic services, offsetting travel expenses, and most importantly providing resources to shape the life of our student-athletes.

PARTNERS
Current Partners include Chevron, Constellation New Energy, Apache, FabEnCo, and CenterPoint Energy. Each partner will donate $10,500 to UH through a sponsorship with ISP Sports. Twenty percent of this sponsorship will go directly to Cougar Pride to fund scholarships and $500 will go toward purchasing game tickets for disadvantaged youth. The

    "I wanted to share with you some of the great results that State Farm has had with University of Houston and our event marketing efforts compared with other venues and particularly Universities that we are involved in this Fall.

    As you know, our event marketing consisted of a tent/inflatable and agents to work the booth to garner leads. We measure results from the leads we garner. For each of the U of H games that we did this at, we garnered 300+ leads at each one. On average with all of our Universities (TCU, SMU, UNT, TT, Baylor, SFA, Texas State, WTAMU, UT, UTEP, and yet to be done TAMU) we are garnering 200 leads per event.
