Cougars Improve Performances At Sam Houston State

Houston Track and Field sent select individuals to the 2012 Sam Houston State Twilight Invitational and came away with a number of improved performances as the Cougars prepare for next weekend's Conference USA Championships (May 11-13) in New Orleans.

The University of Houston track and field team split into two groups this weekend. In addition to attending Penn Relays, part of the team travelled to San Marcos, Texas for the Bobcat Invitational where Simon Stewart took second in the long jump and Nicole Benton placed second in the discus throw.
