Won the 2016 American Athletic Conference Indoor Championship in the 3,000-meters to earn First Team All-American Athletic Conference honors...Earned Second Team All-American Athletic Conference honors with a second place finish in the mile at the Indoor Championships...Finished the season ranked No. 47 nationally in the 3000m rankings...Broke his own program record in the 3K when he clocked the first sub-8 minute time in school history at 7:59.66 at the Husky Classic...Earned American Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week Honors during the week of Jan. 26.

Outdoor: Smashed Al Lawrence's 56-year old record in the 10,000-meters when he ran 29:04.11 at the Stanford Invitational.

Broke his own school record in the 3000m run three times this season with the most recent coming at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships in 8:04.05...Earned All-American Athletic Conference honors for his second place finish in the 3K at the American Championships...Set a new personal record in the mile run with a 4:09.03 at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational

Outdoor: Set a new school record in the 5000m run after finishing in 13:56.76 at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif...Finished runner up in the 5000m at The American outdoor Championships with a time of 14:36.78, earning Second Team All-American Athletic Conference honors...Ran a new personal best in the 1500m and currently ranks second in school history with a 3:44.95 at the J. Fred Duckett Rice Twilight Invitationa...Won the 5K at the Rice Victor Lopez Classic in 14:25.90...Competed in five meets for Houston during the 2015 outdoor season.

Indoor:
Broke the men's 3000-meter school record at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational (Feb. 8, 2014) with a time of 8:16.84... Won the 5000-meter championship race at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., breaking another school record with a time of 14:23.29... Named to the USTFCCCA Top 10 Under 20 lists in the 3000m and 5000m... Runner-up at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships in the 3000m... Anchored the men's conference champion distance medley relay team.

Outdoor: Competed in the 800m, 1,500m and the 5,000m in his first outdoor season... Took second at the Stanford Invitational in the 5,000m with a personal best time of 14:13.54, the fifth best time in school history... Recorded the fastest time of the team this season in the 1,500m (3:51.35)... Placed third at the conference championships to help the Cougar men's team to its first American Athletic Conference championship... Named First Team All-American Athletic Conference.
