Cross Country: Competed in four meets...teamed with Maurilio Sanchez to finish in 15th place at Texas A&M Relays...finished in 18th place at the Big Wave Classic. Indoor: Had a seventh-place finish in the 5,000 meters at the Houston Indoor Invitational with a season-best time of 16:28.68...ran a season-best time of 9:24.51 in the 3,000 meters at the Houston All-Comers meet...also finished in 16th place with a time of 9:39.33 at the Houston Indoor Opener.
