2011-12 (Junior) Indoor: Competed in the shot put and weight throw... Threw a season best of 17.64m (1st) at the Leonard Hilton Invitational... Had four Top 3 finishes during the season in the shot put.
Outdoor: Competed in the shot put, discus throw and the hammer throw... Threw a season best of 16.66m in the shot put at the SHSU Twilight meet... In the discus, Fortune threw a season best 42.92m twice, at the TCU Invitational and the SHSU Twilight meet... Threw a season best in the hammer throw of 49.95m (3rd) at the TCU Invitational.
2009-10 (Freshman) Indoor: Set personal best in the shot put at his first collegiate event with fourth place finish in the shot put (15.65m/51-4)... Placed sixth at the UH All Comers Meet in the shot put and set a personal best in the weight throw with 12.59m/41-3.75 toss.

HIGH SCHOOL Threw personal records in the discus (163-03) and shot put (59-08.75) to finish first in both events at the 2009 Region 3-3A Meet ... Finished second in the shot put at the 2009 Texas Relays with a mark of 57-00.75 ... At the 2009 Woodlands Regional Qualifier, placed fifth in the discus with a mark of 157-06 ... At the 2009 UIL Track Championships, finished sixth in the shot put (52-06.50) and seventh in the discus (149-10).
