2012-13 (Redshirt Senior) Indoor: Ran out of eligibility
Outdoor: Took home four gold medals at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships...Won first gold in the long jump with a personal best of 7.76m (25-5.5)...Member of the men's 4x100-meter relay team who topped its competition with a time of 39.86...Ran personal best in both the 100- (10.38) and 200-meter dash (21.11)...Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the 4x100-meter relay, 100-meter dash and long jump... Advanced to the NCAA Championships as a member of the men's 4x100-meter relay team that finished 21st in the nation (40.54).
2011-12 (Senior) Indoor:Competed in the 60m, long jump and 200m, setting all season bests at the Conference USA Indoor Championships with first place finishes in two out of three events... Ran a season best of 6.74 in the 60m (1st)... Ran a season best in the 200m of 21.58 (2nd)... Jumped a season high 7.60m in the long jump (1st).
2009-10 (Sophomore) Indoor: Earned three top-eight finishes at the C-USA Championships... Placed fifth in the 60m (6.83), seventh in the long jump 7.13m/23-4.75) and eighth in the 200m... Had five top-eight finishes in the 60m out of six events he entered.
Outdoor: Enjoyed career day at the C-USA Championships, winning the 200m and long jump, setting personal best in both events. Also placed second in the 100m and 4x100m relay... Qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the 100m, 200m and 4x400m... Advanced with relay team to NCAA Championships, relay team finished in 18th place.
2008-09 (Freshman) Indoor: Notched a second-place finish in the 60m dash at the New Mexico Cherry & Silver Invitational with a time of 6.84... Finished seventh at the Houston Indoor Invitational, running the 60m in 6.89... Competed in the 60m and 200m at the New Balance Invitational... At the C-USA Championships, finished third in the 60m dash, running a PR 6.81 in the prelims, and in the long jump with a mark of 7.17m (23-06.25)... Placed sixth in the 60m with a time of 7.12 at the LSU NCAA Qualifier.
Outdoor: Won the 100m at the J. Fred Duckett Rice Twilight with a time of 10.53, qualifying for the NCAA Midwest Regional... Competed in the 100m and 200m at the Texas Invitational, clocking 10.58 and 21.43... At the C-USA Championships, finished fourth and fifth in the 100m (10.56) and the long jump (7.17m/23-06.25)... Took seventh in the 100m at the NCAA Regional with a time of 10.42... Set a personal record in the 100m at the USTAF, running a time of 10.30.
High School:Competed at Hightower High School for head coach David Pollack... Named All-Greater Houston Area Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year by the Houston Chronicle in 2008... State champion in the 100m dash, running a time of 10.32 his senior season... Also picked up a bronze medal at the state championships in the long jump with a leap of 23-10... Helped guide Hightower to the 5A state championship, setting a national federation record in the 4X200 relay with a time of 1:23.92...
