Finished second in the shot put at the 2009 Texas Relays with a mark of 57-00.75 ... At the 2009 Woodlands Regional Qualifier, placed fifth in the discus with a mark of 157-06 ... At the 2009 UIL Track Championships, finished sixth in the shot put (52-06.50) and seventh in the discus (149-10).
