Cross Country: Competed in eight events...best finish was ninth place at the Sam Houston State Invitational. Indoor: Finished seventh in the 5000 meters at the Hilton Memorial....had a 10th-place finish in the mile at the UH All-Comers meet. Outdoor: Finished 11th in the 10,000 meters at the Conference USA Championships...was third in the 3,000 meters at the Rice Twilight meet...recorded a fourth-place finish in the 5,000 meters at the Houston Invitational.
2001-02
Cross Country: Placed fourth at the Houston Invitational with a time of 21:11...also ran in two other meets for the Cougars. Indoor: Ran a 3,000-meter time of 9:13.64 to place 11th at the Southwest Classic...Competed in the mile at the UH/RunSport All-Comers meet. Outdoor: Competed in two events for the Cougars...recorded his season-best time of 9:07.60 in the 3000 meters...competed in the 10000 meters at the Conference USA Championships and the Texas Relays.

Cross Country: Competed in three meets for the Cougars. 2001 - Indoor: Had season-best mile time of 4:33.14 to place 16th at the Houston Indoor Invitational...registered a time of 9:14.22 in the 3000 meters to finish 11th at the Southwest Classic. Outdoor: Did not compete.
