Indoor: Had an eighth-place finish in the heptathlon at the Conference USA Championships...finished 11th in the long jump at the Houston Indoor Classic. Outdoor: Recorded a seventh-place finish in the decathlon at the Conference USA Championships with 5,896 points...finished in ninth place in the Silver Division of the Texas A&M Multi-Events Carnival.

Ran track for Splendora High School...placed third in Regional 4x100 meter relay and third in Regional 110 hurdles...won first place at 2002 district meet in 110 and 300-meter hurdles...also played on the districtchampion football team...earned All-District Honorable Mention and All-State All Academic honors.
