Outdoor: Set a regional qualifying mark in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 51.62 to finish seventh at the Texas Relays...member of the 4X400 relay team that finished seventh at the Texas Relays...improved his regional mark in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.35 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational...cracked the NCAA Top 10 in the 400m hurdles after posting a time of 50.62 at the Houston Invitational...won gold at the C-USA Outdoor Championships in the 400m hurdles with a mark of 52.39...won silver as a member of the 4X400 meter relay team at the conference championships...finished fifth at the NCAA Midwest Regional after setting a personal record with a mark of 50.37 in the 400m hurdles...turned in a time of 52.10 at the NCAA Championships.

Indoor: Had a fourth-place finish in the 400 meters at the Leonard Hilton Memorial...was fifth in the 400 meters at the Dan DeHart Invitational, setting a personal best time of 49.24...member of the winning 4x400 meter relay team at the Dan DeHart Invitational with a time of 3:14.32...notched a fifth-place finish in the 400 meters at the Houston Invitational...eighth-place finisher in the 400 meters at the C-USA Indoor Championships with a time of 49.86. Outdoor: Redshirt. Competed unattached at the USATF Outdoor Championships and finished third in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 50.92... also ran at the Pan America Junior games in the 400-meter hurdles and earned a silver medal.
