Indoor: Competed in the 800 meters and had a season-best time of 2:01.64 at the Hilton Memorial.... Outdoor: Had an eighth place finish in the 400 meters at the Tom Tellez Invitational...finished 12th at the LSU Alumni Gold with a season-best time of 49.35 seconds...had Houston's second-best time in the 800 meters with 1:54.25 at the Conference USA Championships...was the runner-up at the Houston Invitational and finished in 14th place at the Texas Invitational.

Competed in track and football at Klein...voted Klein's 2001 and 2002 Senior Athlete-of-the-Year...chosen as 2000 Sophomore-of-the-Year...was a wide receiver and free safety for the football team...earned Defensive Player-of-the-Year honors in 1999.
