Indoor: Posted a mark of 12.24m (40-02) in the shot put at the Leonard Hilton Memorial...also turned in a best of 5.39m in the long jump...finished fourth in the pentathlon with 3,231 points...recorded a 2:34.50 finish in the 800m at the Bayou City Championships...took fourth at the C-USA Championships in the pentathlon with a pr total of 3,462 points. Outdoor: Finished second in the javelin, eighth in the long jump and fourth in the shot put at the Tom Tellez Invitational...won the javelin and was sixth in the shot put at the Texas Invitational...earned a second-place finish in the javelin at the John Jacobs Invitational...took seventh in the javelin at the Cal Collegiate Challenge...finished third in the heptathlon, fifth in the javelin and 15th in the shot put at the C-USA Championships...finished sixth in the heptathlon at the USATF Outdoor Championships with 2,726 points... set a season best in the javelin with a throw of 43.24/141-10.
