Indoor: Competed in the sprints throughout six meets during the indoor season...Member of the distance medley relay team that placed fourth at the American Championships...Ran a personal best 6.87 in the 60m dash at the Houston Invitational & Multi's where he finished 12th...Won the 60m dash competition at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational...Opened the season in the 200m dash at the Reveille Invitational where he finished 25th in 7.23
Outdoor: Finished third in the 100m dash at the UTSA Invitational, opening the outdoor slate with a 10.80.
Indoor: Finished fifth (6.93) in the 60m dash at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships...Competed in six meets for Houston during the indoor season...Set a new personal record running the 60m dash in 6.92 in a third place finish at the Houston Tune Up...Ran the 60m dash at the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational in 7.02 which was a personal record.
Outdoor: Was a member of the 4x100m relay team that won the event at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship with a time of 39.97...Scored points at the outdoor conference meet with an eighth place finish at 10.80 in the 100m dash...Set a personal record in the 200m dash in 21.85 at The American Outdoor Championships...Competed in six events throughout the outdoor season running the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.
Indoor: Competed in six meets for the Cougars this season... Finished fourth in the 60- and 200-meter dash, his highest finishes of the season... Helped the men's 4x400m relay to a win during the Leonard Hilton Memorial (Jan. 17).

Floyd's career ambition is to qualify for the Olympics and winning a medal... Hobbies include sports and video games... He says his biggest influence is his dad.
