HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field teams conclude the Texas A&M Invitational from McFerrin Indoor Stadium on Saturday. The men finished fourth as junior, Errol Nolan set a new indoor school record in the 400m dash, while the women finished sixth.

"Everything we do from here on out needs to be focused on the conference Championships," head coach Leroy Burrell said. "There will be a similar track and similar set up at the conference championships, this was a good opportunity to take a good measurement of where we are."

Nolan took first in the men's 400m dash with a time of 46.12, breaking his previous record of 46.46.

"I'm really proud of Errol, he deserves it," Burrell said.

Michael Mahnke set a new personal best mark in the men's pole vault., Tai'shea Reese, Olivia Amy and Kiersten Brewer improved their times in the women's 200m dash and Alicia Perkins set a personal best in the women's 60m hurdles.
