WALNUT, Calif. - Four distance runners competed in day one of the 55th annual Mt. Sac Relays on Thursday at the Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
In the women's 1500-meter run, sophomore Taylor Beer ran a personal best of 4:46.31. On the men's side, sophomore Yonas Tesfai crossed the finish line at the 3:50.97 mark to place 46th out of 131 runners. Teammate Drevan Anderson-Kaapa ran a time of 4:05.81.
Senior Kathryn Ducommun finished 19th in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase after running a time of 11:13.35.
UP NEXT
The Cougars will take to the field at noon (CDT), Friday with the men's hammer throw and conclude on the track at 5:20 p.m. (CDT) with the men's 110-meter hurdles.
