Broadnax Registers A Fourth-Place Finish In 110-Meter Hurdles At Rice Twilight Meet

Ronald Broadnax registered a fourth-place finish in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.69 seconds at the Rice Twilight Meet on Saturday, April 24. Brent Henson had a sixth-place time of 15:10.30 and was just ahead of teammate Maurillio Sanchez, who was seventh with a time of 15:12.70 in the men's 5000-meter run. In the women's division, Terrie Littlepage had Houston's best showing with a ninth-place finish in the women's steeplechase with a time of 12:31.20.
Julie Perez finished in 12th place in the women's 1500-meter run with a time of 5:02.20 and Nichole Brundage had a 12th-place finish in the women's high jump after clearing 1.53 meters (5-0.25).
