    PHILADELPHIA - The University of Houston track and field team concluded the third and final day of the prestigious Penn Relays at Franklin Field on Saturday afternoon.

    The men's 4x100-meter relay team started day three action off for the Cougars. The team comprised of Leshon Collins, Issac Williams, James Arnett, and Isaiah Sweeney took silver in the college division with a time of 40.49. This time clocked in as the second fastest on the year.

    After qualifying yesterday for the championship round, the women's 4x200-meter relay (Ngozi Onwumere, Sade-Mariah Greenidge, Alicia Perkins, and Kiersten Brewer) finished fifth overall with a time of 1:33.46.

    Along with qualifying for the relay, Greenidge and Brewer both qualified for individual events. Greenidge ran a season best of 13.35 in the women's 100-meter hurdles to take fifth. With this time, the Bridgetown, Barbados native, sits in the No. 5 spot on the all-time list. Brewer took home a fourth-place finish in the women's 100-meter dash with a personal and season best of 11.70.

    The Cougars will take a week off in preparation for the Conference USA Outdoor Championships on May 9-12 at Rice.
