Houston registers a second place finish in 4x100-meter race at Penn Relays

Philadelphia, Pa. - Despite competing in the rain, the University of Houston men's track and field team registered a second-place finish in the college 4x100-meter relay at the 2005 Penn Relays.

Preston Perry, Kolee Latson, Tremaine Smith and Carey LaCour combined for a time of 40.27 seconds. Nebraska won the race with a time of 40.23 seconds.

Houston also had an eighth place finish in the college 4x400-meter relay race with a time of 3:10.43.

Florida won the race with a time of 3:03.34, and Texas Tech was the runner-up with a time of 3:03.43.
