HOUSTON -- Senior Ebonie Floyd set three records Saturday during the finals of the 2007 Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on her way to being named the Female Performer of the Meet and the Female High Point Scorer of the Meet.

Floyd led the Cougars to a third place team finish with 105 points. Houston trailed Rice (146.50 pts.) and UTEP (122 pts.) who finished first and second, respectively. The men's team also earned a third place finish with 134 points behind Memphis (154.50 pts.), the team champions, and UTEP (145 pts.) the runner-up.

Floyd rewrote the record books Saturday night when she won both the 200 meters and 400 meters and ran as member of the 4x100 relay team. Floyd's 200 meter time of 22.67 erased her own record set at last years conference championships.
