The women's 4x100m relay team returns to the finals for the third straight year as the Cougars checked in with the sixth-fastest time (43.91) on Day 1 of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The relay team of two seniors (Grecia Bolton and Tai'shea Reese) and two freshmen (Kiersten Brewer, Alicia Perkins) ran a season-best time of 43.91 to take third in their heat. The relay team will return to the track on Saturday June 9th at 11:10 a.m. for the finals. For the second straight year, junior Errol Nolan ran a top-eight time in the 400m at the NCAA's, but due to qualification rules for the finals (top two from each heat advance plus next best two times to finals) the Nolan narrowly missed on racing in the finals. Nolan's 45.28 was the fastest of the year for the junior, and the second-fastest time in school history. Bolton took 11th place in the 100m in 11.36. RESULTS 100m 4x100m
