NCAA Outdoor Championships Day 3 Results in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Senior Seun Adigun advanced to the 100m hurdles final, turning in the fastest time in the semifinals Friday during the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Championships at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark.

Adigun, the 2009 Conference USA Track Athlete of the Year, turned in a time of 12.91 to advance to Saturday's final, which will be held at 11:52 a.m.

Also advancing was sophomore Chris Carter, who qualified for the triple jump final after clearing 16.29m (53-05.50) placing fourth in the prelims. The triple jump finals will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday.

After tweaking his calf during the high jump prelims on Thursday, senior Ivan Diggs closed out his collegiate career finishing with a mark of 2.10m (6-10.75) to finish in a tie for 11th place in the finals.
