Indianapolis - University of Houston sophomore sprinter Ebonie Floyd registered a fourth-place finish in the 200 meter dash at the USA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 22.77 seconds.

Freshman hurdler Seun Adigun also registered a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles at the USA Junior Championships with a wind-aided time of 13.62 seconds. Adigun advanced to the finals with a career-best time of 13.59 seconds.

Floyd advanced to the finals with a time of 22.63 seconds in the semifinals 23.02 seconds in the opening round.

Preston Perry also advanced to the semifinals of the men's 200-meter dash, finishing sixth with a time of 21.10 seconds in the first heat. Perry advanced to the semifinals with a time of 21.28 seconds in the first round.

Caresir Hamilton also recorded a 13th-place finish in the women's triple jump with a leap of 12.53 meters (41' 1 1/2").
