EUGENE, Ore. - Freshman Isaiah Sweeney finished fourth in the 100m at the US Track and Field Junior Championships on Friday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. With the finish, Sweeney was selected to represent Team USA at the 2009 Junior Pan Am Games.

Sweeney turned in a time of 10.30 in the 100m finals to finish fourth, qualifying to represent the US at the 2009 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships held July 31-August 2 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

Competition at the USATF Outdoor Championships continues Saturday before coming to a close on Sunday.
