HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field programs return to action on Friday and Saturday when they host the Houston Indoor Invitational and Multi Events inside Yeoman Field House.
Friday's action begins at noon with the women's multi events and running events start at 4:30 p.m., with section "B" of the women's 400m dash. On Saturday, field events begin at 9:00 a.m., and running events are slated to start at 11:00 a.m.
Joining Houston among the field of 13 will be Houston Baptist, North Texas, Prairie View A&M, Rice, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Southern-Baton Rouge, Texas (women), Texas Southern, Texas State, Grambling and UTSA.
Junior Megan Frausto will be the lone multi event competitor for Houston. Frausto will be looking to win the women's pentathlon at this event for the third consecutive year. Last year Frausto took first-place with a score of 3,638, claiming victories in the long jump and the high jump.

The Cougars are coming off a strong showing at the Adidas Classic hosted by Nebraska, which saw five first-place victories and 14 top-three finishes.
Fans can purchase tickets inside Yeoman Field House on the days of the meet. Youth tickets are $7 and adult passes are $10.
