IRVING, Texas – University of Houston sophomore Chris Carter was named the Conference USA Male Track & Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
The Hearne, Texas, native set a provisional mark with a personal-best and first-place leap of 15.89m (52-01.75) in the triple jump at the Cherry & Silver Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. on Saturday.
