UH All-Comers Meet Heat Sheets Get Acrobat Reader

HOUSTON – For the first time this season, the University of Houston track and field team will split up to compete in two separate meets. Invited Cougars will travel to New York, for the New Balance Invitational on Feb. 5-6, while the remainder of the team will stay in Houston for the UH All-Comers Meet on Feb. 6 at the Yeoman Fieldhouse.

The two-day New Balance Invitational is one of the most prestigious indoor events in the nation and attracts many of the country's elite collegiate teams, including Texas, Texas A&M, USC, LSU, UCLA and Arkansas.

Field events will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. with the collegiate women’s shot up, and track events commence at the same time with the collegiate women’s 3,000m race. The meet concludes on Saturday with the men and women’s 4x400m relay beginning at 4:57 p.m.

The Cougars host the UH All-Comers Meet on Saturday. Field events begin at 8 a.m. with the men and women’s weight throw, boys and girls’ long jump and boys and girl’s pole vault. Running events will operate on a running schedule and get underway at 10 a.m. with the distance medley relay.


Admission for the meet will be $8 for adults and $5 for children. For live results, click HERE.
