Track & Field Relays to Compete at Notre Dame Saturday

HOUSTON - Members of the women's 4x400-meter relay and the men's distance medley relay will travel to Notre Dame, Ind., for the Alex Wilson Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The meet will take place in the Loftus Sports Center. Mayo Track is six-lanes and 320 meters. Relay teams from the nations best will be racing to better their times before conference meets begin.
Terracia Moody, Mayorca Young, Ngozi Onwumere and Brittany Wallace will represent Houston as the women's 4x400m relay team. The four posted a 3:38.42 at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational to place second. Their time led to a No. 20 national ranking by USTFCCCA.
The men's DMR team comprised of Chris Ibarra, Anthony Coleman, Drevan Anderson-Kaapa and Yonas Tesfai will compete for Houston this Saturday. The Cougars posted a second best time in school history of 9:44.97 at the Tyson Invitational last weekend.
The men's DMR will begin at 12:05 p.m. EST while the women's 4x400 relay is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. EST
