Nolan, Collins, and the Men's 4x400 Relay Team Head to NCAA Indoor Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Errol Nolan, Leshon Collins and the men's 4x400 relay team will compete at the 2013 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday at the Randall Tyson Track.
Nolan is making his second-straight appearance at the Indoor Championships after qualifying at the Iowa State Last Chance meet on Saturday. There, he ran a personal record and the nation's eighth best time of 46.10 in the men's 400-meter dash. At last year's Championships, the Rosenberg, Texas native, placed sixth overall when he clocked in at 46.50 seconds.
Nolan will open competition up for the Cougars at 6:40 p.m., Friday. Should he advance, the event finals are scheduled for 6:50 p.m., Saturday.
Collins will compete at 7:05 p.m., Friday in the men's 60-meter dash preliminary round. The freshman claimed the final spot in the event when he set his personal best of 6.67 at Houston's own Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational. The men's 60-meter finals are slated to begin at 7:10 p.m., Saturday.
The Cougars close out championship competition at 8:20 p.m., Saturday, with the men's 4x400 relay. The school-record breaking team set its mark of 3:07.60 on Dec. 8 at the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational. Its time is the 10th fastest in the nation.
ESPN3 will air the meet live at 5:30 p.m., Friday and 6 p.m., Saturday. ESPNU will televise the Championships on tape delay at 6 p.m., Sunday, March 17.
