HOUSTON - Kalyn Floyd finished sixth in the 200m finals at the NCAA Indoor Championships with her time of 23.41.

The Houston native set a personal best in the preliminaries with her time of 23.45 before bettering that mark in the finals to score three points for Houston. Her finish is third fastest in Houston history.

Shaniqua Ferguson of Auburn won the event with her time of 23.09.

UP NEXT
With Floyd's sixth place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships, the Houston indoor season has come to a conclusion. The athletes begin the transition to the elements as the outdoor season picks up Friday, March 19 at the TSU Relays.
