HOUSTON - With homecoming right around the corner it's time to make plans to celebrate with your University of Houston family. Join UH track and field alumni on Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24 for two days of fun filled activities to relive the glory days.

The fun will begin Friday at Irma's Southwest Grill at 1314 Texas St. for happy hour at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $20 and includes hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks. Then join UH track and field alumni for a family picnic on Saturday at Lewis Tellez Track at 3100 Cullen Blvd (Behind the Athletic/Alumni Center). Come out and enjoy catered barbeque, music and plenty fun for the kids. The cost will be $20 for adults and $5 per child.

Following the family picnic, be sure to head over to Robertson Stadium for the UH football Homecoming game against SMU. Ticket cost is also $20 per person.
