    HOUSTON- Two freshmen members of University of Houston track and field team have been named to Track and Field News' 2013 High School Boys All-America Team. 

    Cameron Burrell, a Ridge Point High School graduate, was selected for his performance in the 100-meter dash. He was ranked second with a time of 10.36/10.07w. Burrell took first place at several meets last season including the Texas Southern Relays, Texas Relays and the Dream Race. He was also the Texas 4A State Champion in the 100m.

    Newcomer Chris Ibarra begins to wrap up his first season with the Cross Country team and was also selected to the All-America team for the 800-meter run. He was named the Texas 3A State Champion in the 800m and is ranked third for his time of 1:49.90.
